Community discussion

A roguelike autobattler (per the ranking video's chapter title) that could not be identified as a current, buyable Steam listing; the reviewer says it was rebranded and delisted.

No community or critic consensus could be established. The local Steam dataset has no appid for this title, and Steam store searches for 'Magic Book Autobattler' and 'Magic Book' returned no matching autobattler (only unrelated titles such as Amanda's Magic Book entries, Book of Demons, Slime Rush: Leshy and the Magic Book). The only grounded information is from the ranking video (Part 3, about 2:03:57-2:04:28): the reviewer says he found the game's Steam page had been rebranded, that the game no longer exists under that name and can no longer be bought, and that viewers will not know what it is until a newer version comes out. He gave no tier or opinion on gameplay. The title may also be a rough chapter label rather than the official name. The general web search tool hit its session budget, so no reviews, Reddit threads, Metacritic or OpenCritic pages could be retrieved.

What players criticize

  • Delisted/rebranded on Steam, so it cannot currently be purchased under this name (per the ranking video)

Distinctive features

  • The reviewer called the situation unique: he said he had never seen a game vanish from its Steam page through a rebrand like this

No reception data found. Steam data file lists no appid for this title (no match candidates). The ranking video's Magic Book chapter is only about 26 seconds long and contains no verdict, so it should be shown as 'unranked / delisted, not rated' rather than given a tier. Follow-up suggestion: if the game's new name is found (the reviewer says it was rebranded), rerun research under that name. Web search was unavailable (200-call session budget exhausted); DuckDuckGo, Bing and Google fetches were blocked by captcha/consent pages and Reddit fetch is disallowed, and these blocks were not bypassed.

Tier list Part 3 (2025)

The segment only introduces the game. After noting that the previous entry (Magic Book) was delisted and rebranded on Steam, he moves on to Magicraft, an action roguelike where you use highly customizable wands instead of weapons. It is heavily inspired by Noita but uses a more traditional action-roguelike run structure. The transcript cuts off before any verdict or tier placement.

What the creator praises

  • Extensive wand customization in place of fixed weapons
  • Noita-style spell-crafting depth carried into a more conventional run structure

Issues raised by the creator

  • No criticism stated in this segment

Design observations

  • Wand-building as the core gimmick, combined with a traditional action-roguelike run structure rather than Noita's continuous world
